“We deserve a Democratic Party that fights for us.”
I’m a lifelong county resident, a UCSC student, a music teacher, and a community radio host. I’m running for Santa Cruz County Democratic Central Committee because the Democratic Party must genuinely advocate for progressive values and working-class Santa Cruzans. As a DCC alternate, an appointed delegate to the California Democratic Party, and a member of the City of Santa Cruz Climate Action Task Force, I’ve been working to make this change within the Democratic Party and our broader political community.
I am committed to advocating for climate justice in transit policy, land use, and all policy at the local and state level. I pledge to always be a partner to workers and unions. I’ll work to get affordable housing champions into office.
A DCC delegate has the responsibility of supporting the Democratic Party and bolstering its work at the local level as well as impacting its decisionmaking. I’m confident that I’m well-equipped to fulfill both of these responsibilities for our community.

What is the DCC?
The Democratic Central Committee (DCC) is the most local body of the Democratic Party. Each county in California has a DCC. Central Committee delegates vote on the party’s endorsement in local races, vote on resolutions by the DCC, and organize the DCC’s efforts in fundraising, voter registration, and outreach.
